LYNNWOOD — Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives have identified a suspect in an armed robbery at an espresso stand in early January.
The suspect, 45, has been in the Snohomish County Jail since Thursday for an unrelated incident involving drugs.
Detectives believe the Seattle man is responsible for a Jan. 5 robbery in unincorporated Lynnwood. The hold-up man forced open the back door of an espresso stand in the 16500 block of Ash Way.
Armed with a pipe, the man demanded money from the barista. He ran off after grabbing the cash.
The barista was not injured.
The man faces a first-degree robbery charge.
