ARLINGTON — A 28-year-old man was taken by helicopter to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle after his car struck a utility pole Tuesday afternoon.
The crash occurred along Jordan Road near Jim Creek.
It took firefighters 90 minutes to cut the driver free from the car, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. It was a complicated rescue, said Capt. Drew Bono with Fire District 21, which serves rural Arlington.
The driver’s condition was not made public, though police said he had leg injuries. No other cars were involved. The crash remains under investigation.
