A driver was injured Wednesday afternoon when his car wound up in a ditch off U.S. 2.
Medics were summoned shortly after 4 p.m. to westbound U.S. 2 west of Bickford Avenue, where a car was upside down in a ditch, Snohomish Fire and Rescue Deputy Chief Ron Simmons said.
The driver was taken to an Everett hospital with minor injuries, Battalion Chief John Hinchcliffe said.
Crews cleared the scene in less than an hour.
