ARLINGTON — A man was injured after an overnight fire east of Arlington.
The fire was reported around 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 17600 block of 125th Avenue.
The man, whose age was not immediately available, was found in what was believed to be a bedroom, Snohomish County Fire District 21 Chief Chad Schmidt said. He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett in serious condition.
Several other fire departments were on the scene, including Arlington, Getchell, Granite Falls and Silvana.
Arlington, which had a medical unit headed to another call in the area, reached the fire scene first, Schmidt said.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
