BELLINGHAM — A man arrested in Mount Vernon and accused of grabbing at a woman’s chest is suspected of similar assaults at Western Washington University, police say.
Mount Vernon police said transient Glenn Martin Harman, 21, was arrested Thursday. He was being held in the Skagit County Jail for investigation of an assault.
WWU officials said campus police will ask Whatcom County prosecutors to file three charges of indecent liberties against Harman. Campus police questioned Harman in their cases after his arrest, and he is suspected in a fourth off-campus incident in Bellingham.
In all the assaults, a man approached a woman walking alone and grabbed her chest.
