An Everett man was jailed Tuesday for allegedly hitting a man over the head with a bottle, stripping him naked and taking $108 out of the man’s wallet.
The victim told police he was walking through a wooded area near the Fred Meyer store in the 8500 block of Evergreen Way when he was attacked. He said he was knocked unconscious and woke up naked, bleeding from the head, according to a police report filed Wednesday in Everett District Court.
The man who was arrested, 24, is homeless. He was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of second-degree assault and first-degree robbery.
A judge ordered him held in lieu of $250,000.
