SNOHOMISH — The death of a Snohomish-area man found under a fallen tree has been ruled an accident.
Timothy J. Howard, 61, died of multiple blunt force injuries Tuesday, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Howard’s wife had called 911 when she couldn’t find him and he didn’t answer his cellphone.
Howard had told his wife earlier in the day that he planned to cut down a rotten tree on their property along S. Lake Roesiger Road.
Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies found Howard’s body. There were chain saws nearby.
