Man killed in Spokane in gang shooting

SPOKANE — A man who was fatally shot early today in north Spokane staggered a short distance to a lawn where police found him dead.

Lt. Dave McGovern says the shooting is likely gang related.

McGovern says witnesses reported hearing five to six shots following an argument.

An unknown number of people took off on foot.

Police searched the area with a tracking dog but were unable to find any suspects.
