MARYSVILLE – A 36-year-old Marysville man was killed early Sunday after his all-terrain vehicle hit a parked car in the 10300 block of 60th Avenue NE.
The man’s name was not released Sunday. Speed was a factor in the 3 a.m. crash, said Rebecca Hover, spokeswoman for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
The man was traveling southbound on 60th Avenue NE near Marysville when his Yamaha 350 went off the road, through some bushes and hit the car, Hover said. The man died at the scene.
The man was traveling alone, Hover said. He was not wearing a helmet. The accident was still under investigation Sunday.
Lynnwood: Man injured in single car crash
A 21-year-old Lynnwood man was seriously injured after his Toyota 4-Runner hit a power pole in the 16400 block of 48th Avenue W. early Saturday.
The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after the 3 a.m. accident, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. His condition was not available Sunday.
The man was traveling at a high rate of speed when his vehicle left the road, went into a ditch, turned on its side and hit the pole, Hover said. No further information was available Sunday.
