MILL CREEK — A man who died after being hit by a car in Mill Creek on Monday has been identified as Quincy P. Tigner, of Bothell.
Tigner, 22, died from head injuries, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office. The Mill Creek Police Department is investigating the crash.
It happened about 9:30 a.m. along the Bothell-Everett Highway, near the intersection with 173rd Street SE. Police believe Tigner was walking along the side of the road at the time.
The driver was a 45-year-old woman from Mill Creek, according to police.
No new information on the case was released Tuesday. It was the second fatal crash involving a pedestrian in that part of the city this year.
Parker M. Lang, 18, died in March, days after being struck along the same highway. That crash occurred about a quarter-mile north of Monday’s scene.
