EVERETT — A Mill Creek man died Tuesday evening after he ran onto I-5 in Everett and was struck by a semi-truck, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Witnesses saw Jacob M. Roberts, 33, shortly after 5 p.m. standing on the right shoulder of southbound I-5, just south of 128th Street SW. According to a memo from the State Patrol, he then ran into the middle of the freeway, where the truck hit him.
Roberts suffered serious injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he died.
No arrests were made.
