BREMERTON— Boaters rescued a man who drove into Sinclair Inlet at a Bremerton park, and then two police officers and a firefighter dived in to check if anyone else was in the sinking car.
The man was taken to Harrison Medical Center. Police Chief Steve Strachan told the Kitsap Sun (http://bit.ly/1obcjqR ) he was alive and with his family.
The car left a parking lot, drove through bushes and rolled into the water about 10 a.m. Thursday at Bachmann Park. The empty car was pulled from the water shortly after 11:30 a.m.
