EVERETT – A man who indicated he was armed held up a Baskin-Robbins ice cream store in south Everett about 8:25 p.m. Wednesday and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The man, about 25, walked into the store at 11014 19th Avenue SE, put his hand in his pocket and demanded money from a clerk. No weapon was seen.
Police searched the area for more than half an hour but didn’t find any suspects, Lt. Ted Olafson said. A police dog was brought in to track the suspect, but the trail ended quickly, Olafson said.
Police are investigating whether the robbery is connected with other recent heists in Everett and Marysville, Olafson said.
The bandit wore a ski hat with a bill. He also wore a red sweat shirt and black jeans.
