CLEARVIEW — A 20-foot fall from a ladder onto concrete left a man with severe injuries Friday afternoon near Clearview.
The man in his 50s had climbed up a ladder to visit a friend, who was working on a roof at a home in the 7900 block of 164th Street SE, said Heather Chadwick, spokeswoman for Snohomish County Fire District 7.
The man was descending around 1:15 p.m. when he fell two stories. Fire crews helped the roofer down to the ground.
An ambulance rushed the injured man to a local hospital. His injuries were serious, but not life-threatening, Chadwick said.
