LYNNWOOD — Police on Monday asked the public to help find the man who tried to rob a bank.
Police were called to Frontier Bank at 21111 Highway 99 shortly before 11 a.m., Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
The suspect implied he was armed and demanded cash. He fled on foot before getting the money.
He was described as white, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing about 210 pounds. He was unshaven with short, salt-and-pepper colored hair.
He was wearing a brown jacket with a lining that looked like sheepskin, a turquoise-colored shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
Detectives are investigating if the incident is connected to other recent robberies in the area.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lynnwood police detective Sean Gillebo at 425-670-5622.
