MARYSVILLE — A man was hit on Highway 9 in Marysville Wednesday morning, causing life-threatening injuries.
All lanes were closed for about an hour around 4 a.m., near 64th Street NE. The man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Reports that the man was jumping and laying in the middle of the road came in about 10 minutes before the incident, Washington State Patrol trooper Heather Axtman said. Troopers were already on the way when he was struck in the middle of the road, she said.
The driver was heading north, and stayed at the scene.
