LYNNWOOD — A man has been arrested in Lynnwood for investigation of assault after allegedly stabbing a woman at a Lynnwood business Sunday evening.
The incident was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. at the Rite Aid in the 7500 block of 196th Street SW, Lynnwood police reported.
The victim, 19, had gone to the business to call for help when the suspect, 22, reportedly assaulted her with a knife, police said.
The suspect was arrested at a nearby apartment complex shortly after the assault.
The victim was transported to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. She suffered multiple stab wounds and was listed in stable condition.
Detectives are continuing to investigate.
