FEDERAL WAY — Police continue to look for a man suspected of having a role in three shootings in one week in Federal Way and Des Moines, including the death of a Marine on leave.
Federal Way police said Thursday they have probable cause to arrest Bernard Bellerouche, 27, for investigation of first-degree murder in the May 7 fatal shooting of a man in Federal Way apartment parking lot.
They also believe Bellerouche was involved in a shootout Monday in Des Moines that wounded a man.
And, they say Bellerouche was present at the shooting Tuesday in another Federal Way parking lot that killed the Marine, George J. Gabriel, 22, who was in a car with his wife. Police say he was just looking for a parking spot.
