EVERETT — Officials have identified a man who died Friday in a fire in central Everett.
Pavel Zhuk, 58, succumbed to smoke inhalation. His death was ruled an accident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Firefighters found Zhuk unresponsive in a bedroom during the afternoon fire at the Marnice Apartments, 1031 75th St. SE. The flames apparently started in the kitchen. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
