TACOMA — A 19-year-old man injured in a Tacoma drive-by shooting has died.
The News Tribune reported that the man who was wounded last Friday died on Wednesday.
The Pierce County Medical Examiner’s Office identified him as Brandon Morris from Tacoma.
Police arrested Alexander Jabbaar Kitt on Tuesday on suspicion of the shooting, which happened in an alley at South 45th and Union Avenue.
A judge has ordered Kitt held for 72 hours as prosecutors make a charging decision.
A woman who identified herself as Morris’ mother sent an email to The News Tribune saying her son had just come out of a store at the intersection, where he bought candy with his friends just before the shooting.
