Rhonda Marquardt, a Nationally Board certified math teacher at Mariner High School in south Everett and a U.S. State Department Global Fellow, has been selected to receive a Teach Earth Fellowship. Marquardt will be assisting researchers working toward conserving wetlands and traditional agriculture outside of Mexico City. She received a full scholarship to cover the cost of the research expedition and also was recently awarded an additional grant to cover the cost of travel.
