MARYSVILLE — A family of four were forced out of their home Saturday morning by a garage fire.
Family members hurried outside their home in the 18100 block of 25th Avenue when they smelled smoke and called the fire department around 9:15 a.m., Marysville Fire Battalion Chief Bob Magee said.
No one was hurt in the fire.
The fire was contained to the garage but smoke damage made the home uninhabitable, Magee said.
Snohomish County fire marshal’s investigators estimated the damage at around $25,000.
Investigators Saturday night didn’t know the cause of the fire.
