The Marysville Council of Knights of Columbus purchased 170 new warm coats and distributed them to needy children in the Marysville, Tulalip and Lakewood communities.
The annual program was made possible with the support and assistance of Father Peter Mactutis and the parishioners at Marysville’s St. Mary Catholic Church, and the church’s Backpack Ministry, as well as the members of the Marysville Knights of Columbus. The coats were distributed beginning the first week of November, before onset of the very cold weather in the area.
