STANWOOD — A 29-year-old Marysville man has been sentenced to four years in prison for a robbery at a Stanwood laundromat on June 7.
Joshua M. Mitchell was convicted of first-degree robbery, court records show.
The attack left a 73-year-old Army veteran with broken ribs.
Mitchell was accused of clobbering the victim and stealing his wallet and pickup. The men were strangers and the victim had been folding his laundry at the time, according to the arrest report.
The truck was found parked outside Island Crossing gas station while the suspect was inside the store.
Mitchell pleaded guilty in October.
