MARYSVILLE — A 50-year-old Marysville man was seriously injured Monday night after being struck by a car.
Just after 5:30 p.m., police and fire crews were called to the northbound I-5 off-ramp at Fourth Street in Marysville. The man was extricated from under the vehicle and taken to a local hospital, officials said. His injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
The man was struck but not run over, Marysville police Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.
Investigators were at the scene Monday night and talking to witnesses to find out what happened, he said.
