MARYSVILLE — Police are asking for witnesses to come forward after a shooting Wednesday in Marysville.
No one was hit by the gunfire reported about 4 a.m. along 46th Drive NE on the north side of town, Marysville police Lt. Mark Thomas said. A vehicle was shot in a driveway by someone who was outside with a gun. It was not a drive-by shooting.
Due to the extent of the damage, though, the incident is being investigated as a potential case of first-degree malicious mischief, a felony, Thomas said.
Detectives on Wednesday were working on obtaining search warrants.
Anyone with information about what happened is asked to call 360-363-8300.
