MARYSVILLE — A police officer was involved in a collision Saturday while responding to a 911 call in Marysville.
He suffered minor injuries.
A passing vehicle and the patrol car collided near 92nd Street NE and 51st Place NE. It happened around 3:10 p.m.
The officer struck a power pole while trying to avoid the collision, according to the Marysville Police Department.
He was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The other driver was not hurt, police said.
Detectives are investigating the cause of the wreck.
Snohomish County PUD workers expected to be in the area for a couple of hours while replacing the power pole.
