Marysville police probe how man was shot in head

MARYSVILLE — A 24-year-old Marysville man who was shot in the head Saturday was out of surgery Tuesday and is expected to be released today.

Marysville police still have no suspects in the shooting, but believe it may be connected to a shooting Friday night in Everett, Marysville Cmdr. Robb Lamoureux said.

Everett Sgt. Boyd Bryant said there was a report of shots fired in the Silver Firs area that night, but he would not say if anyone was hit.

The Marysville man was shot in the 6000 block of 57th Drive NE in Marysville. He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he had surgery.

Lynnwood: Skagit trio arrested after burglary

Three men were arrested early Tuesday after allegedly using a stolen truck to rob the Circuit City electronics store in Lynnwood before leading police on a chase toward Mukilteo.

The three men, Skagit County residents 18 to 23 years old, allegedly broke into the store just after 1:30 a.m. A Lynnwood police sergeant spotted the truck leaving the parking lot along 196th Street SW and followed it onto northbound I-5. Police followed the truck onto westbound Highway 526.

The men jumped out of the truck while it was moving, and the truck crashed into a guardrail about 200 feet later. A police K-9 caught one of the men, and the two others were caught by Lynnwood police and a Snohomish County sheriff’s deputy.

Officials said Richards has some history of alcoholism, and her family is worried about her well-being. She is 5 feet 6 inches tall and 125 pounds. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Everett police at 425-257-8700.
