MARYSVILLE — Financial help may be available for those who pay the city of Marysville for utilities.
The city is offering CARES Act grants of up to $200 for water, sewer and garbage bills to people who have lost their jobs or are working fewer hours because of COVID-19. Apply by Nov. 20.
Awards will end Nov. 30, or when the city has distributed the remaining $12,000 available for the program.
“As we head into the fall and winter season, we are glad to be able to continue to distribute CARES funding here in Marysville for basic needs like utilities,” Mayor Jon Nehring said in a statement. “Even relatively small grants can make a big difference.”
