Nathan Caferro recently achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Caferro, 16, is a member of Boy Scouts of America Troop 19 in Everett and a junior at Archbishop Murphy High School.
For his community service project, Caferro designed and built a new information kiosk for a Marysville soccer field.
Local lumber yards, hardware stores and home improvement businesses donated materials. Fellow Scouts and Marysville parks staff helped tear down the old kiosk and install the new one. The project also included new landscaping around the kiosk and a nearby flag pole.
