EVERETT — A masked gunman robbed a bank in south Everett just before noon today.
The man, dressed all in black and wearing a black ski mask, told everyone in the bank to get down on the floor. He then demanded money and ran away, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The suspect had a silver-plated handgun.
The robbery occurred at the First Security Bank in the 11100 block of Evergreen Way, he said. The same bank was robbed a few weeks ago.
It’s too early to know if the robberies are linked.
Police were unable to track the man.
The suspect is described as about 6 feet tall, weighing about 190 pounds, Goetz said.
Everett’s major crime unit is working with the FBI to investigate.
