SEATTLE — Some medical professionals are speaking out Wednesday about the damage of coal-burning to people’s health.
Nurses, doctors and other health professionals are rallying near the University of Washington Medical Center to support phasing out coal-burning in Washington state.
The state House is considering a Senate bill that would shut down the state’s only coal-fired power plant in Centralia by 2025.
