Top three issues:
1. Overspending: I would like to see the city more accountable in the spending of citizens’ money. The overspending has taken us to the brink of disbanding as a city, as mentioned by the mayor. One huge overspending area was the attorney bill.
2. Professionalism: The council should work as a team, not do frontal attacks at the council table.
3. Reigniting the city back to volunteerism could accomplish many neglected projects that need to be addressed.
In her own words: “I am running to return professionalism to the council, impose fiscal responsibility and reignite the spirit of volunteerism.”
Fun fact: None submitted.

Top three issues
1. End atmosphere of secrecy and self-interest at City Hall.
2. Stop unchecked spending and borrowing without a clear understanding of account balances, which brought Gold Bar to the brink of disbanding as a city.
3. The city has an indifferent, negative attitude toward the community’s youths. Children’s Day was canceled last year, and our new park was made unwelcome.
In her own words: “I have based my career on the belief that the public has the right to question and the right to know. As a council member, I will actively seek public input, and through our collective reasoning bring about better results.”
Fun fact: None submitted.

Personal experience: Ability to work with others.
Top three issues
1. Stray dogs running around town will continue to be an issue until the city gets more funding to afford a full-time dogcatcher.
2. We’ve recently passed a junk vehicle ordinance to help get rid of junked and abandoned vehicles.
3. I think that the city’s water quality is outstanding.
In his own words: “Throughout my years as a member of the Gold Bar City Council, I have tried, along with other council members, to maintain quality city services while working within an increasingly tight budget. Even so, during my terms, Gold Bar has dedicated a new city hall and park that reflect the growth and beauty of our city. By electing me to the Gold Bar City Council, you will be encouraging the city to stay on a positive and healthy course.”
Fun fact: Likes to mountain bike.
