Hecht and MacDonald

Michael Hecht Jr. and Erin MacDonald of Buford, Ga., are planning a May 30 wedding in Auburn, Ga.

The bride’s parents are James and Kathy MacDonald of Mill Creek. The groom’s parents are Michael and Josephine Hecht of Ball Ground, Ga.

MacDonald is a 1996 graduate of King’s High School in Seattle. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Ga., and currently works in business development in Atlanta.

Hecht is a 1994 graduate of the University of Georgia. He spent six years as a police officer with the Gwinnett County Police Department. He currently works for the government.
