County legal aid auction rasies $53,000
Snohomish County lawyers raised about $53,000 this month to benefit an organization that gives legal guidance to the poor.
The money will go to Snohomish County Legal Services, which serves about 800 clients. The money was raised at the annual Snohomish County Bar Association auction and dinner.
Proceeds are a major funding source for the organization, which also relies on volunteer help from county lawyers, director Threesa Milligan said.
