Missing camper from Arlington found dead near Marblemount

MOUNT VERNON — Human remains found last month by a hiker near Marblemount have been identified as a camper from Arlington missing since August 2013, the Skagit County Sheriff’s Office said.

Thomas McCoy, 61, failed to return from a solo camping trip. A weeklong search found no sign of him.
