ABERDEEN — A Vancouver, Wash., man missing in the wilderness near Humptulips was found Monday in time to spend Christmas Day with his family.
A Thurston County search and rescue team found Corey Anderson, 26, around 3 p.m. He had been lost since about 5 p.m. Sunday after chasing a deer he hit while bow hunting.
Deputy David Libby with the Grays Harbor Sheriff’s office says Anderson was wet and cold but in good spirits. He has been taken to a hospital for observation.
About 50 searchers were happy and relieved to find Anderson in time to spend the holiday with their families.
