USDA Deputy Secretary Kathleen Merrigan says $9.2 million in grant awards are going to a Farmers Market Promotion Program. Washington State received two awards totaling $131,000.
According to the Office of Farmland Preservation blog, the city of Stanwood received $77,732 for the Port Susan Farmers Market Association.
