MONROE — They wore business suits to the robbery and left the teller tied up.
Monroe police are investigating a holdup Saturday morning at the “Check Into Cash” business in the 19000 block of Lenton Place SE, spokeswoman Debbie Willis said.
Officers found the clerk tied up in the store, she said. Two men had used a handgun during the holdup and ran off with cash.
The suspects are described as white, about 20 years old, 6-foot-2 to 6-foot-3, wearing dark business suits.
The store employee wasn’t physically hurt, Willis said.
