Classes at Monroe High School are cancelled for today because of water damage caused by a broken sprinkler head, a district spokeswoman said.
A sprinkler head on the second floor broke late Thursday afternoon, district spokeswoman Rosemary O’Neil said. No further information was available on what caused the sprinkler to break or on the extent of the damage, she said.
Updates will be posted on the school’s schedule hot line at 360-804-2950, O’Neil said.
