MONROE — Fire destroyed a Monroe home early Friday.
The blaze was reported about 12:49 a.m. in the 23000 block of Sophie Road, Monroe Fire District 3 spokeswoman Richelle Risdon said.
Crew were forced to fight the fire from the outside of the home as it was engulfed in flames when they arrived, she said.
No firefighters were injured. It’s unclear if anyone was living in the home.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office determined the blaze was not intentionally set but it was too soon to tell what sparked the fire, Risdon said.
