SEATTLE — Beginning this week, Seattle police will be assigning 15 to 25 officers to patrol popular nightspots on Friday and Saturday nights.
KIRO radio reported it’s part of the city’s nightlife initiative. Mayor Mike McGinn said the goal is to maintain safety and support restaurants and entertainment venues. The special late night patrols will continue through September.
