Most popular dog name in Seattle is Lucy

SEATTLE — The most popular name for a dog in Seattle is Lucy.

The dog license database shows 540 licensed pooches named Lucy. That’s one out of every 83 dogs in the city.

The Seattle Times reports other top dog names are Bella, Max, Charlie and Buddy. All are also among the leading canine names nationally.

The database shows only two dogs in Seattle are named Fido.
