WEST RICHLAND — The person found dead after a house fire in West Richland has been identified as a 26-year-old mother of three. Authorities say Sandy St. George’s body was found after a fire that fully engulfed the home early Friday. West Richland police say her husband, Thomas St. George, was found outside the home with breathing difficulties and was taken to a hospital.
The couple’s three young children had spent the night at a babysitter’s house.
Police Chief Brian McElroy says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
