QUINCY — A Quincy woman says her 11-year-old daughter was assaulted by classmates at the direction of the substitute teacher.
The woman, Olga Montano, told iFIBER One News it happened last month at Monument Elementary School in Quincy.
The sixth-grade girl reportedly refused to move to the front of the class, as the teacher was trying to stop her from talking in back of the room.
The mother says the teacher told four other students to move her. They grabbed her, and her mother says she was slapped and kicked as she was pulled forward.
Police are investigating.
School Superintendent John Boyd says the substitute teacher resigned.
