YAKIMA — Hundreds of police cars are expected to take part in a procession from Sunnyside to the Yakima SunDome for Friday’s memorial service for three Washington State Patrol employees who died in a house fire.
The Yakima Herald-Republic reports the motorcade will assemble at 10 a.m. Friday at the Sunnyside Community Center and proceed on I-82 to Union Gap and then to the SunDome.
The service begins at 1 p.m. for Trooper Kristopher Sperry, Trooper Gary Miller and Communications Officer Anne-Millere-Hewitt who died in the Aug. 16 fire near Zillah.
