EVERETT — A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision Wednesday in downtown Everett.
The man was driving a racing-style motorcycle westbound on Pacific Avenue just before noon, said Everett police officer Aaron Snell. Meanwhile, an eastbound vehicle was preparing to turn left onto Pine Street.
The two vehicles collided.
Police suspect speed may have been factor.
The injured motorcyclist was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett, Snell said. The other driver was not hurt.
A stretch of Pacific Avenue was closed for about two hours while detectives investigated.
