LAKE STEVENS — A motorcyclist who died Monday night in a crash near Lake Stevens has been identified.
Around 10 p.m., a passenger car collided with Anthony Palko, 33, who was riding a motorcycle in the 13600 block of 84th Street NE, said Courtney O’Keefe, spokesperson for the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s deputies found Palko dead when they arrived at the scene. The driver and the passenger in the car, both juveniles, were taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett with non-life threatening injuries, according to the sheriff’s office.
The road was closed for hours while detectives investigated.
Palko died of blunt force injuries, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
