LYNNWOOD — A man who died in a motorcycle accident on Highway 99 in Lynnwood on Sunday has been identified.
John D. Lammon, 34, of Sultan, died after his motorcycle collided with a pickup that police said was entering the roadway.
The wreck and the ensuing investigation shut down parts of the highway for several hours that night.
His death has been ruled an accident, according to the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation by Lynnwood police.
Witnesses have told police there may have been a second motorcycle, and that might have played a role in the crash. Anyone with information should call Officer Stephen Showalter at 425-670-5600.
