SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man on a motorcycle was injured when he tried to avoid hitting a vehicle ahead of him on Highway 9 at 160th St. SE on Thursday night.
The man, 51, was taken to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett where he was treated for his injuries, the Washington State Patrol reported.
A Bothell man, a Kirkland woman and two small children in a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox were not injured.
Troopers said the motorcyclist was southbound at a high rate of speed. He took his bike to the ground to avoid colliding with the car, which also was southbound, the patrol said.
